Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of the Crewed mobile application and website. By downloading the app or visiting the site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use Crewed.

Use of the app

Crewed is provided as-is for informational and entertainment purposes only. The app is operated by an independent developer on a best-effort basis. We make no warranties — express or implied — regarding availability, accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose.

You must be at least 13 years old to use Crewed.

Race data & accuracy

Race schedules, results, athlete profiles, and news content are sourced from publicly available information. We try to keep data accurate and up to date, but we cannot guarantee its completeness or correctness.

Do not rely solely on Crewed for race entry deadlines, cut-off times, course details, or any other information where accuracy is safety-critical. Always verify directly with race organisers.

Supporter subscription

Crewed offers an optional paid supporter subscription ("Crew+") that unlocks additional features in the app.

• Subscriptions are billed on a recurring monthly basis until cancelled.
• You may cancel at any time through your device's app store subscription management (Google Play or the App Store). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; no partial refunds are issued for unused time.
• Prices are displayed in the app and may change with reasonable advance notice.
• Payments are processed by a third-party payment processor. By subscribing you agree to their terms of service. Crewed does not store your payment card details.
• We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue Crew+ features at any time. If we discontinue a feature you paid for, we will provide a prorated refund where applicable.

One-time support contributions are non-refundable.

Community features

Crewed includes community features such as race chat. When participating, you agree not to:

• Post content that is abusive, threatening, hateful, or harassing toward any person or group.
• Spam, advertise third-party products or services without permission, or post the same message repeatedly.
• Share false information, impersonate athletes, race officials, or other users.
• Post content that infringes on the intellectual property rights of others.

We reserve the right to remove content or restrict access to community features for users who violate these guidelines, without prior notice.

Intellectual property

The Crewed name, logo, app design, and original content are the property of the developer. Race results, athlete names, and related factual data are not owned by Crewed and are used under fair-use principles for informational purposes.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Crewed and its developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use the app, including but not limited to reliance on inaccurate race information.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of Crewed after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of South Africa. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of South Africa.
