About
Stephanie Case is a Canadian ultrarunner, United Nations human rights lawyer, and founder of Free to Run — a nonprofit that empowers girls and women in conflict zones through running. She finished second at the Hardrock 100 in 2022, became the first woman to complete the 450km Tor des Glaciers in 2021, and won the Ultra-Trail Snowdonia by UTMB in 2025 while breastfeeding her infant daughter Pepper in a now-iconic moment of athletic and maternal inspiration. One of trail running's most extraordinary figures, Case is as impactful off the trails as on them.
