Pablo Villa is a Spanish ultrarunner and one of the most experienced and respected figures on the European mountain ultra circuit. He ran his first trail race at 19 years old in 2008 in the Picos de Europa and has competed at elite level since 2010, accumulating at least four appearances for Team Spain at the Trail World Championships across that span. His signature race is the Transgrancanaria Classic 126k on Gran Canaria: he shares a co-championship from 2020, when he and Adidas Terrex teammate Pau Capell crossed the line together after 12 hours of racing, and won outright in 2022, establishing himself as one of the race's all-time great specialists. He also won the TDS by UTMB in 2019, one of the most competitive of the UTMB week races. An Adidas Terrex athlete with a UTMB Index over 850, Villa brings deep tactical experience and course knowledge to every start and continues to compete at World Trail Majors level.
