Mike Carroll is an Australian trail and ultrarunner based in Canberra who has established himself as one of Australia's leading 100km mountain runners. He won the Ultra-Trail Australia 100km (UTA100) — one of the UTMB World Series Majors, held in the Blue Mountains of New South Wales — in 2024, and placed second in both 2023 and 2025. He has finished in the top five of the UTA100 across multiple editions and prior to his 2024 victory had won four of his previous five ultra starts across 50K and 100K distances. He also won the Roller Coaster Run 46km Double Loop Ultra in 2025 and placed second at the Buffalo Stampede 42km SkyMarathon in 2026. Known for his consistent performance on long, technical mountain courses and his ability to execute race day execution across a range of conditions, Carroll has emerged as a reliable podium contender at the highest level of Australian trail running and within the broader UTMB World Series.
