Mikaël Pasero is a French trail and ultrarunner from the Pays Voironnais region of Isère in the French Alps, where he has become a local ambassador for the sport. A veteran of the European mountain ultra circuit, Pasero has competed at the highest level for over a decade across major French and international races. His results include second at the CCC at UTMB in 2012, fifth at the Mont Blanc 80km in 2015, twelfth at the Diagonale des Fous in 2016, and first at the Grand Raid des Pyrénées 80km in 2016 (10h43'40). In 2023, he won the Grand Trail des Écrins (Trans'Écrins). A consistent performer on the technical high-mountain terrain of the Alps and Pyrenees, Pasero has also recorded a personal best of 2:38:37 at the Marathon International du Beaujolais and earned recognition from the Pays Voironnais tourism authority as the trail ambassador for the territory.
