About

Born on August 30, 1983, in Taggia, Liguria, Michele Graglia relocated to Miami in 2007 and built a successful modelling career representing Calvin Klein, Nike, and Armani before discovering ultrarunning in 2011 through Dean Karnazes' Ultramarathon Man. Now based in Los Angeles as a La Sportiva team athlete, certified running coach, and author, his specialty lies in extreme heat and multi-day desert events. In 2018 he became the first Italian ever to win the Badwater 135 (24:51:47), and in 2020 the first runner to win both the Badwater 135 and the Moab 240.
