About

Mélanie Delasoie (born 1990) is a Swiss trail runner from Salvan in the Valais who has competed on the mountain circuit since her trail running debut in 2009. A Dynafit-sponsored athlete, she built steadily through Swiss and European competition over more than a decade before establishing herself as a regular performer at international level. She made two UTMB Mont-Blanc starts — 16th in 2022 and 24th in 2024 — progressing consistently toward the front of the elite women's field. Her 2025 season marked a significant step forward: co-winning the Monte Rosa WalserWaeg by UTMB, finishing third at the Tenerife Bluetrail 110k, and placing sixth at the Mont Blanc 90k. In February 2026 she tied for second at the Transgrancanaria Classic 126k alongside Claudia Tremps, both crossing the line in 16:49:20 hand-in-hand in one of trail running's most celebrated displays of sportsmanship. Quiet and consistent, Delasoie has established herself as one of Switzerland's most competitive trail athletes.
