McKendree Hickory is an American ultrarunner and executive leadership coach who holds a PhD and heads coaching at NextArrow — serving hundreds of senior leaders across more than 300 organisations — while competing at the elite end of the women's 100-mile field. Her standout result came at the 2024 High Lonesome 100 Mile, a demanding course through Colorado's Collegiate Peaks wilderness, where she won outright in 22:19:22. The following year she placed third at the Run Rabbit Run 100 Mile in Steamboat Springs, Colorado, in 21:21:22, continuing her record of consistent high-level performance at America's most competitive 100-mile races. A regular on the UTMB circuit, Hickory brings the same structured rigour to race preparation that characterises her professional coaching work.
