Martyna Młynarczyk is a Polish professional trail runner with one of the most distinctive backstories in the sport: before discovering ultrarunning she was a contemporary dancer and ballet teacher, a history that visibly informs the elegance and efficiency of her movement on technical mountain terrain. Specialising in the 80–100 kilometre distance, she excels on fast, runnable courses where her speed-endurance background gives her a natural advantage. In 2025 she delivered the breakout result of her career, winning the CCC by UTMB — the 101-kilometre Courmayeur-Champex-Chamonix traverse through the Alps — in a time of 11:41:55, the second-fastest women's performance in the history of the race. Her transition from the rehearsal room to the mountain podium stands as one of the most unexpected and compelling ascents in the sport.
