About
Martin Perrier is a French ultra-endurance runner from Rennes who lives in Geneva, Switzerland and has built one of the most distinctive profiles in the sport — combining an MBA from Ohio State University, a former career as a French Army Mountain Troops officer and JP Morgan Private Bank manager, and a scratch golf handicap (0), with the endurance to finish on the podium at the Tor des Géants, the 330km traverse of Italy's Aosta Valley. Competing as a professional for the Kailas FUGA team, he earned third place at the 2024 TDG before returning in 2025 to cross the finish line hand-in-hand with Italian competitor Simone Corsini — one of the edition's most celebrated displays of sportsmanship. His path to those results was not without controversy: at the 2024 race he made public accusations against François D'Haene regarding illegal accompaniment that provoked a widespread reaction across the trail community, before publicly apologising for the lack of evidence. He also won the Mons Ultra Trail 200-mile in 2025. A MENSA Switzerland member, certified life coach, keynote speaker, and author of Je m'y engage — a book on the transformative power of personal commitment — Perrier brings a rare convergence of intellectual, professional, and athletic achievement to a sport increasingly defined by specialisation.
