Mari Klakegg Fenre is a Norwegian ultra trail runner competing for Grenland Ultra Runners and sponsored by Hoka. She emerged as a major international force with a commanding win at the HOKA Val d'Aran by UTMB 2023, and returned to dominate the same race in 2025, winning the women's Camins d'Hèr (100k) in 12:31:45 — nearly two hours clear of second place — in one of the standout individual performances of the UTMB World Series season. At the 2024 UTMB Mont-Blanc she placed 14th among women (27:05:54), and she competed at the Trail World Championships in both 2023 (18th) and 2025 (16th in the 82km long trail). She also won the women's category at the 2023 Eiger Ultra Trail. Holding a UTMB Index of 750, she is one of Norway's premier female mountain ultrarunners.
