Kristian Jones (born 3 April 1991) is a British ultrarunner and orienteer regarded as one of the most versatile endurance athletes in the world, having completed over 100 ultramarathons. He began in orienteering, winning a bronze medal at the European Orienteering Championships and a silver relay medal at the World Orienteering Championships before turning his attention to ultra distances. In 2020 he set the Fastest Known Time on the South West Coast Path, completing Britain's 630-mile longest national trail in 10 days. His biggest FKT came in 2022 when he ran the 2,189-mile Appalachian Trail southbound in 45 days, 4 hours and 27 minutes — breaking Karl Meltzer's record by 18 hours. He also placed 5th at the 2022 World Mountain and Trail Running Championships (40K) and won bronze in the team short trail alongside Jonathan Albon and Billy Cartwright.
