Katharina Hartmuth is a German ultrarunner and PhD candidate based in Switzerland who has rapidly become one of the sport's most versatile mountain racers. In 2024 she set the women's course record at Tor des Géants (79:10:40), becoming the first woman to complete the 330km race in under 80 hours, while also placing on the UTMB Mont-Blanc podium in both 2023 and 2025. Known for her scientific approach to racing and her ability to thrive across every race length, Hartmuth is one of the most complete ultrarunners of her generation.
