Jessica Carroll is an American trail runner from Austin, Texas, who grew up on a cattle ranch in Canton, East Texas. A self-described late-bloomer adult athlete without a high school or college running background, she discovered the sport through community — connecting with adult runners attempting longer distances for the first time — and progressed to trail and ultra distances. She describes running trails as an act of self-discovery, and trains on Austin staples including the 7-mile Barton Creek Greenbelt and the 10-mile Ann and Roy Butler Hike and Bike Trail loop. She is associated with Territory Run Co. in Austin.
