About
Giuliana Arrigoni is an Italian trail runner who rose to international prominence in the mid-2010s with outstanding performances at two of the sport's most prestigious 100-mile mountain races. A particular strength at the longest ultra-trail distances saw her win Ultra-Trail Mt. Fuji (UTMF) in Japan — one of the world's most revered and demanding 100-mile events — and claim second place at UTMB Mont-Blanc, placing her among the elite handful of women capable of competing at the very front of 100-mile trail racing internationally. Equally capable on technical mountain terrain across multiple continents, Arrigoni demonstrated the strength, endurance, and race management required to succeed at the highest level of ultra-trail competition.
