Giuditta Turini is an Italian trail runner and ski mountaineer from Gressoney, originally from Ivrea, who has become one of the most consistent and technically accomplished women on the European ultra-trail circuit. Born in 1989, she inherited her passion for the mountains from her father Ioris, who took her on the Lyskamm traverse at just thirteen. Her competition career sparked in 2017 with a first victory at Tot Dret — the demanding 130 km course associated with Tor des Géants — and peaked in an extraordinary 2019 season: four outright victories at the DoloMyths Run Sellaronda Trail, Valmalenco Ultradistance Trail, Adamello Trail, and Ultratrack Supramonte Seaside. A two-time Italian trail running champion, she maintains a podium percentage approaching 100% across all her race starts. Her high-profile international results include second place in the 120 km La Sportiva Lavaredo Ultra Trail by UTMB in 2024, first place at the 2025 Restonica Trail by UTMB (7:44:32), and a paired women's win at the 2024 Monte Rosa SkyMarathon alongside Martina Valmassoi in 6:13:01. At the 2025 Trail World Championships Long Trail she finished ninth, losing a sprint finish to France's Hillary Gerardi by one second. She competes for the Kailas Fuga Team and Karpos Outdoor and serves as technical director of the Monte Rosa Walser Waeg by UTMB.
