About
Georgia Porter is one of the most versatile American distance runners of her generation — an eight-time NCAA Division II All-American and four-time Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Champion at Western Colorado University who qualified for the 2020 U.S. Olympic Marathon Trials before reinventing herself as a force on the ultra trail circuit and in the FKT world. A former paramedic from Hockinson, Washington, now based in Flagstaff, Arizona, she won the 2023 High Lonesome 100 Mile in Colorado and has consistently placed at the front of competitive mountain hundreds. Her most defining performance came in November 2024 when she set the women's supported fastest known time on the 817-mile Arizona Trail in 16 days, 22 hours, and 6 minutes — a record-breaking traverse of Arizona's full length from Utah to Mexico that drew wide media coverage. Sister of professional road runner Sarah Crouch, Porter now coaches through Running Rediscovered and races for the Aravaipa Racing Team.
