Georgia Jo Manta, known as Jo, is a Greek ultrarunner who competes internationally at some of the sport's most demanding events. A recognised figure in the Greek trail running community, she has taken on iconic American ultra races including the Leadville Trail 100 in Colorado — a high-altitude event in the Rocky Mountains — whose completion was singled out for congratulations by legendary ultrarunner Dean Karnazes. She has also competed at the UTMB World Series, including the Olympus Marathon on the slopes of Greece's highest peak, where she finished 30th in the women's race at the 2024 edition. With a UTMB Index of 529, Manta represents Greek ultrarunning on the global stage and continues to build her résumé across international events.
