About
Franco Collé is an Italian ultrarunner and engineer from the Aosta Valley — the Alpine region that hosts the Tor des Géants, the 330km mountain race that has defined his career. He first entered the Tor in 2012 after being registered by his sister without serious preparation, then went on to win it four times: in 2014, 2018, 2021, and 2023. His 2023 victory set a new course record of 66:39:16. No other runner has won the Tor des Géants more than twice. Born and raised in the mountains he races, Collè combines deep local knowledge with elite-level mountain endurance to make him the undisputed master of his home race.
