About
Fiona Pascall is a British ultrarunner and Salomon UK athlete from Somerset, England, whose arrival on the international ultra scene has been rapid and compelling. The younger sister of Beth Pascall — the 2021 Western States 100 champion — Fiona grew up watching elite competition but carved her own path, falling in love with long-distance mountain running after completing the Bob Graham Round in the Lake District. She and her husband live on a rewilding project on the Quantock Hills in Somerset, where they have established a trail running retreat with six guest cabins, offering immersive running holidays rooted in the landscape. In March 2025 she won the Chianti Ultra Trail by UTMB to earn a Golden Ticket to Western States 100. Her debut at the race was immediately memorable: she finished fifth in 12:34:59 after surviving a charged encounter with a bear mid-race. She returns to Western States in 2026 as one of the most intriguing additions to the women's field.
