Fabio Caverzan is an Italian trail runner from the Veneto region who has competed consistently on the Italian mountain ultra circuit across more than fifteen years of racing, establishing himself as one of the most durable veterans of regional trail competition in northeastern Italy. A specialist on the rocky, demanding courses of the Dolomites and the Prealpi Trevigiane, he achieved his strongest results in the early 2010s: placing second at the Lavaredo Ultra Trail 90km in 2010 on the famous Dolomite course through Cortina d'Ampezzo — one of Italy's most prestigious mountain ultras — and finishing second at the Gran Raid delle Prealpi Trevigiane in both 2009 and 2014, the 71km traverse of the Belluno pre-Alps that remains one of the standard-setters for long-course mountain racing in the Veneto. He has continued to compete into the mid-2020s, building a career total that spans shorter mountain races to 100-kilometre-plus ultras and making him one of Italian trail running's longest-serving and locally respected competitors.
