Ephantus Mwangi Njeri is a Kenyan mountain and trail runner competing for the Run2gether On Trail team, which has been at the forefront of developing Kenyan talent in off-road disciplines. He is a specialist in vertical and classic mountain formats, regularly competing on the World Athletics Mountain Running World Cup circuit. At the 2025 Grand Parcours Vauban Mountain Trail he finished third. At the 2025 Pitz Alpine Glacier Trail (Golden Trail World Series) he placed ninth overall. In 2026 he took silver at the Innsbruck Alpine Trailrun Festival uphill. He represents the growing cohort of Kenyan runners who bring their world-class aerobic base to technical mountain terrain with remarkable speed of improvement.
