About

Christophe Perrillat is a French trail runner from the Haute-Savoie region of the French Alps who competes primarily in mountain ultra events on the UTMB World Series circuit and in regional trail races across the Savoie and Haute-Savoie departments. Rooted in one of Europe's most talent-rich trail running corridors — the arc of mountain communities stretching from Chamonix through Annecy that consistently produces internationally competitive trail runners — Perrillat has built a results record anchored by technical mountain terrain and high-altitude racing. He holds a UTMB Index of 756, and at the HOKA UTMB Mont-Blanc 2025 he finished 51st overall in the CCC, the 100-kilometre race running from Courmayeur in Italy through the Aosta Valley and into Chamonix. In 2018 he tied for second place at the High Trail Vanoise — a prestigious skyrunning-format mountain race held in the Vanoise massif in Savoie — finishing level with Ludovic Pommeret, who would himself go on to win La Diagonale des Fous. Perrillat exemplifies the deep talent pool of trail runners in the Savoie region who train and race on the same terrain as the sport's elite and compete with them at major UTMB World Series qualifiers.
