About

Cat Bradley is an American trail runner from Boulder, Colorado, who produced one of the most celebrated upsets in Western States 100 history when she won the 2017 edition in 19:31:31, entering as a relative unknown against one of the strongest women's fields the race had ever assembled. A former 800-metre collegiate track athlete at UC Santa Barbara who discovered trail running after through-hiking the Appalachian Trail in 2011, she set the women's course record at the Rio Del Lago 100-Miler in 2016 and later established the Grand Canyon Rim-to-Rim-to-Rim women's FKT. She now works as a running coach and co-leads the Boundless trail running community.
