About
Caroline Sebert is a French trail runner and school teacher with the Alliance française who competes across mountain ultra distances on the European and island circuit. Her most prominent result is a 58th-place women's finish (824th overall out of 2,013 starters) at the 2024 Grand Raid de la Réunion — La Diagonale des Fous — completing the iconic 175 km island traverse across Réunion with 10,107m of cumulative elevation gain in 49 hours and 35 minutes. She has also competed at La 6000D Trail de légende (68.7 km) and other European mountain races, building a UTMB Index of 570 across her trail racing career. Her completion of La Diagonale des Fous — widely regarded as one of the world's most demanding island ultras — places her among a select community of runners who have conquered the full distance of Réunion's most iconic race.
