About
Caitlin Fielder is a New Zealand-born professional trail runner and artist who lives in Andorra in the Pyrenees, where she relocated to be with her partner, professional cyclist George Bennett. A marine scientist by academic training, she is also a former competitive collegiate boxer and runs her own art business painting custom cycling shoes for professional riders — including three-time Tour de France winner Tadej Pogačar. She came to trail running in 2015 and progressed quickly despite not beginning until her mid-to-late twenties. By her early thirties she had podiumed at the OCC, the Mont Blanc Marathon, and Zegama-Aizkorri — three of the most competitive mountain races in the world. Training at altitude in Andorra has accelerated her development considerably, and she now competes internationally for Andorra. Her blend of scientific curiosity, artistic creativity, and mountain athleticism make her one of the sport's most distinctive and compelling personalities.
