About
Aurélien Collet is a French trail runner who has built one of the most consistent competitive records of his generation — amassing 26 victories and 39 podiums from 58 races, a success rate across a wide range of terrains and distances that has made him a reference point in European mountain ultra running. He was selected for the French national team at the 2016 Trail World Championships in Gerês, Portugal, where he finished 7th individually in the 85km race and contributed to France's team gold medal — one of the sport's most prestigious collective honours. His résumé spans three continents: 2nd at the 2018 Transgrancanaria Classic (127km, 6,550m gain) in the Canary Islands, 2nd at the Ultra-Trail Harricana du Canada (125km, 4,020m) in Québec, and 3rd at Ultra Trail Australia in 2017 — one of the Southern Hemisphere's most technically demanding mountain events in the Blue Mountains of New South Wales. A Hoka-sponsored athlete, Collet also works as a trail race organiser in France, combining elite competition with building the infrastructure of the sport he competes in.
