About
Arthur Joyeux-Bouillon is a French ultra-trail runner from the Vercors massif who has assembled one of the most consistent UTMB-circuit résumés of any male runner in his cohort, recording three consecutive top-10 finishes at UTMB Mont-Blanc. Now based in Haute-Savoie with his wife, son, and dog, he discovered trail running in 2013 and progressed to ultra distances in 2016, taking early wins at Trail des Passerelles du Monteynard and Glaciers de la Vanoise in 2017, and Trail de La Rosière in 2018. His UTMB breakthrough came in 2022 with 7th place, followed by 2nd at Istria 100 by UTMB in 2023 (169km), 6th at UTMB 2024, and a career-defining victory at Val d’Aran by UTMB in 2025 — a 163km race he completed in 16:25:48. An On Running and Shokz athlete, Joyeux-Bouillon represents the depth and quality of the French mountain running tradition.
