Dr. Alisyn Hummelberg is an American trail ultrarunner and Doctor of Physical Therapy based in Lafayette, Colorado, who brings both elite athletic history and clinical expertise to high-altitude mountain running. A Wake Forest University graduate who competed for the Demon Deacons' NCAA Division I cross-country program (BS Health and Exercise Science, 2014), she went on to earn her DPT from the University of St. Augustine in 2018. Originally from Michigan, she relocated to Colorado as quickly as opportunity allowed and immersed herself in the high-altitude ultra circuit, placing 2nd at the 2022 Leadville Trail 100 Mile in 21:59 and 2nd at the Silver Rush 50 Mile (finishing just three minutes behind Devon Yanko). She practises at Alpenstrong Physical Therapy in Lafayette and combines her running career with a focused clinical interest in endurance athlete rehabilitation and injury prevention.
